Objective:In this study,we used immunohistochemical staining to detecting the expression of AKR1B10 protein in cervical carcinoma,para-carcinoma tissues and normal tissues, then analysis the results. To explore the correlation between the expression level of AKR1B10 protein and clinical pathological data in patients with cervical carcinoma. To investigate the expression of AKR1B10 protein in cervical carcinoma tissues infected different types of human papillomavirus. Methods:We collected from January 1,2013 to December 30,2015 in our hospital for treatment of 108 cases of cervical cancer patients with clinical and pathological data, cervical exfoliated cells, pathology diagnosis center confirmed postoperative cervical tissue and paraffin samples and 20 cases normal tissues(as control).Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of AKR1B10 protein in cervical wax tissues.SPSS 18 statistical software was used to analyze the correlation between the expression of AKR1B10 protein in cervical carcinoma and para-carcinoma tissues,to explore the correlation between the expression level of AKR1B10 protein and clinical pathological data in patients with cervical carcinoma. At the same time,we count the expression of AKR1B10 protein in cervical carcinoma tissues infected different types of human papillomavirus.Results:1.The expression of AKR1B10 in cervical cancer tissues is mainly expressed in the cytoplasm of cervical cancer cells, and is relatively rare in the nucleus.AKR1B10 expression was positive 3 cases(15%)in normal cervical tissues.AKR1B10 expression was positive 56 cases(51.9%)in cervical cancer tissues. There was significant difference in the expression of AKR1B10 protein in cervical cancer tissues and normal tissues(p<0.05).2.AKR1B10 expression was positive 27 cases(25%)in para-carcinoma tissues.AKR1B10 expression was positive 56 cases(51.9%)in cervical cancer tissues. There was significant difference in the expression of AKR1B10 protein in para-carcinoma tissues and cervical cancer tissues(p<0.05).3.We analyzed the correlation between the expression of AKR1B10 protein in cervical carcinoma and clinical pathological data with cervical carcinoma, found that positive correlation with tumor size and the level of expression of AKR1B10 in cervical carcinoma tissue(r=0.228,p<0.05).However,we found that the expression level of AKR1B10 protein in cervical cancer was not related to the age, pathological classification, clinical staging of FIGO,degree of tumor differentiation and lymph node metastasis.4.We evaluated the expression levels of AKR1B10 in different types of human papillomavirus positive cervical cancer tissues and found that the positive rate of AKR1B10 expression in HPV16 positive cervical cancer was 53%.Conclusion:1.Compared with normal cervical tissues, the expression of AKR1B10 in cervical cancer tissues is higher than that in normal cervical tissues.2.Compared with para-carcinoma tissues, the expression of AKR1B10 in cervical cancer tissues is higher than that in para-carcinoma tissues.3.The expression of AKR1B10 protein was positively correlated with the size of cervical carcinoma.4.In HPV infected patients, the positive rate of AKR1B10 expression in HPV16 infected cervical cancer was 53%.
