In recent years,brainwave is the hotspot in brain research.It has an important effect in Brain disease diagnosis.Abnormal brainwave has characteristics of dispersal,paroxysm,scrambling and arhythmicity.Through researching the changes of brainwave characteristics under pathological state(epilepsy,cerebral injury,drug effect,etc)and feature extraction and feature analysis,brainwave can provide clinic with analysis and reference.Brainwave for the diagnosis of epilepsy are clinically used ECOG.The existing diagnosis of epilepsy mainly depends on the bulky electroencephalograph instrument and cable wired connection.It’s unable to achieve daily EEG monitoring of patient.Many diseases such as epilepsy need long time monitoring to locate nidus.It is significant to develop a wireless transmission EEG monitoring system.This paper analyzes the characteristics of various brain-computer interfaces based on different schemes and usage scenarios and designs a wireless portable ECOG system which can achieve the real-time monitoring of brainwave.This system is portable and quick feedback.It facilitates the doctor’s treatment of patients.Also this paper designs a wireless EEG system.ECOG system consists of signal collection electrodes,pre-preocessing module,wireless transmission module and terminal display module.Signal collection electrodes use our homemade flexible electrodes which can better fit cerebral cortex and improve signal to noise ratio.Pre-preocessing module uses RHD2132 chip.It supports 32-channel signal acquisition.Each channel has a sampling rate of 30kSamples/s.Input noise is as low as 2.4 μ Vrms.It has a 16-bit ADC.It well supports amplification and filtering.Wireless transmission module uses CC2541 BLE chip.It supports up to 2Mbps transfer rate and 40-50mW low power dissipation.It’s ideal for long wireless data transmission.Terminal display module is divided into mobile terminal and PC terminal which support the real-time monitoring of signal waveform.Through this system,we can analyze ECOG signal to locate epilepsy lesions and apply electrical stimulation for the treatment of epilepsy.EEG system uses CC3200 WIFI chip for wireless transmission.It provides greater transmission efficiency which is up to 13Mbps using TCP.Pre-preocessing module also uses RHD2132 chip.It can display real-time waveform at terminal.EEG signal can help montor the state of the user.For example,it’s using for those who are engaged in work.Fatigue,excitement,loss and other emotions can be monitored and timely feedback.This can help to do some additional incentives to users to make adjustment.This system can monitor EEG signal of the user to judge the status of brain and then give some suggestions.
