ObjectiveTo investigate the expression of ganglioside GD3 and CD3+T lymphocytes in gastric carcinoma and adjacent tissues,and to explore the correlation between them.MethodsThe Department of General Surgery,the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University from June 2010 to June 2014 was performed in 38 cases of gastric cancer and paracancerous tissue wax in the hospital pathology department.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the contents of ganglioside GD3 and CD3+T cells in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues.The relationship between GD3 and CD3+T cells was analyzed by statistic method.ResultsThe positive rates of ganglioside GD3 in 38 cases of gastric carcinoma and adjacent tissues were 81.8%(31/38)and 28.95%(11/38)respectively.There was significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=21.289,P<0.01).The positive rates of CD3+T cells in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were 23.68%(9/38)and 78.95%(30/38)respectively.There was significant difference between the two groups(χ~2=23.227,P<0.01).The correlation between the expression of ganglioside GD3 and CD3+T lymphocytes in 38cases of gastric carcinoma was analyzed by Spearman rank correlation.The results showed that the expression of GD3 and CD3+T lymphocytes was negatively correlated(r=-0.534,P<0.01).The correlation between the expression of ganglioside GD3 and CD3+T lymphocytes in paracancerous tissues was analyzed by Spearman rank correlation.The results showed that the expression of GD3 and CD3+T lymphocytes was negatively correlated(r=-0.524,P<0.01).Conclusions1.The positive rate of ganglioside GD3 in gastric cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in paracancerous tissues,demonstrating the same enrichment of gangliosides in gastric cancer tissues,suggesting that gangliosides may also be a potential tumor marker for the clinical diagnosis of gastric cancer.2.The positive rate of CD3+T lymphocytes in gastric cancer tissues is lower than that in adjacent tissues,proving that there are indeed some factors in human tumor tissues leading to the inhibition of tumor immunity.3.The expression of ganglioside GD3 and CD3+T lymphocytes in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues was negatively correlated.Suggesting that gangliosides in tumor tissue may inhibit tumor immunity,which provides experimental evidence for the clinical treatment of gastric cancer,has some clinical significance.
