| Objective: In this study,we tried to use different frequencies of electroacupuncture for treatment of Chronic eczema, especially for the symptoms of itching.By observing the variation of SSS score and Skindex-16 scale score,we evaluated the clinical effect between the drugs,high-frequency(HF)electroacupuncture and low-frequency(LF)electroacupuncture.Meanwhile,the concentration of cytokine IL-12 in serum was detected before and after treatment. The changes of cytokine IL-12 before and after treatment were compared, and clinical efficacy was confirmed. The mechanism of electro acupuncture in treating chronic eczema and itching symptoms was explored.Method:60 patients(includeing inpatient and outpatient)who were diagnosed Chronic eczema, were selected from the Tong ji Hospital,Huazhong University of Science and Technology,Wuhan City Hospital of traditional Chinese and Western medicine,Wuhan Central Hospital,Wuhan fifth hospital. They were randomly divided into three groups: the drug group, the HF electroacupuncture group and the LF electroacupuncture group with a random number table, with 20 cases in each group. The drug group took cetirizine orally. Both HF and LF electroacupuncture groups were applied on both sides of Quchi,Hegu,Yinlingquan,Xuehai. After proding,“deqi”,Quchi and Hegu,Yinlingquan and Xuehai were separately connected with a pair of electrodes. The stimulation parameters are DC,continuous wave, time is 30 minutes, wave width is 0.5 + 0.1ms,and the current intensity is the maximum strength of the patient.HF electroacupuncture group was treated with 100 Hz electroacupuncture.LF electroacupuncture group was treated with 2Hz electroacupuncture. One course lasted for 7 days,a total of 2 courses of treatment. We recorded all patients’ symptoms, signs,SSS score,Skindex-16 score before and after treatment, draw venous blood 5ml from three groups at the same time.Placed the blood samples in the containing lithium fluoride vacuum anticoagulant tube, standing for 1 hours in the Refrigerator fresh-keeping layer. Then the blood samples were centrifuged in the same weight, centrifuged.Used Burettes to extract the supernatant of the blood samples into the into a sterile tube(volume 1.5ml)for 1ml,Marked them well and stored in the refrigerator at-80 centigrade to wait for inspection.Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay was used to detect the content of IL-12 in the samples. Finally,The data were statistically analyzed with correlation analytic meth.Result:1.The comparison of three groups of clinical efficacy: After two courses of treatment, the total effective rate of high-frequency electroacupuncture(HF)group was 90.00%,and the total effective rate of low-frequency electroacupuncture group(LF group)was 85.00%.The total effective rate is 55.00%.The total effective rates of HF group,LF group and drug group were compared, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);2.The comparison of SSS scores of the three groups before and after treatment: after two courses of treatment, the SSS scores of the HF group, the LF group, and the drug group decreased. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Among them, there was a significant difference between the HF group and the drug group(P<0.01)。The difference between the LF group and the drug group was not statistically significant(P>0.01).The difference between HF group and LF group was significant(P<0.01);3.The comparison of the Skindex-16 scores scale before and after treatment in the three groups: After two courses of treatment, the scores of the Skindex-16 scale in the drug group, the HF group, and the LF group all decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Among them, there was a significant difference between the HF group and the drug group(P<0.01)。The difference between the LF group and the drug group was not statistically significant(P>0.01).The difference between the HF group and the LF group was significant(P<0.01);4.The comparison of serum IL-12 levels before and after treatment in the three groups: After two courses of treatment, serum IL-12 concentrations in the drug group,HF group, and LF group were all decreased, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Among them, there was a significant difference between the HF group and the drug group, and the difference between the LF group and the drug group was also statistically significant(P<0.01).There was a significant difference between the HF group and the LF group(P<0.01).Conclusion: 1.HF electroacupuncture was better than oral cetirizine in treating chronic eczema curative effect;2.HF electroacupuncture are better than oral cetirizine in improving chronic eczema itching symptoms, alleviate the psychological problems and life;3.High frequency electroacupuncture is more effective than low frequency electroacupuncture;4.electricacupuncture needle to treat chronic eczema and itching may by inhibiting the cytokine level of IL-12 to achieve. |
