Realgar belongs to the realgar group of sulfide minerals,which is a traditional Chinese traditional Chinese medicine.In this paper,Realgar Nanoparticles Processed(NRPP)is prepared by the combination of modern nanotechnology and traditional processing methods.The crystal structure,total arsenic content,As2O3 content and trace element content,as indexes,are to ensure the quality of NRPP.Realgar water process is prepared according to the regulation under realgar item of the 2015 edition of Chinese Pharmacopoeia.A comparison of the similarities and differences between realgar,realgar water process and NRPP in crystal structure,total arsenic content and soluble arsenic content are made to study the differences between the traditional processing methods of Realgar and modern processing methods.In order to preliminarily evaluate the safety of Realgar and NRPP,acute toxicity tests were carried out to provide experimental evidence for the clinical application of Realgar and NRPP.The 13 batches of realgars medicinal materials are collected from all over the country.There are 3 batches of realgars which are not in accordance with the rules in total arsenic content according to the 2015 edition of the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(a part).Realgar water process are prepared by the remaining10 batches of eligibility Realgar with powder-refining with water.NRPP are grained by high energy ball mill.NRPP are made from NRPP by processing with 5%hydrochloric acid.Referencing to the"Chinese Pharmacopoeia",the traits,identification and inspection of Realgar and their corresponding Realgar water process,NRPP are initial quality evaluated.Realgar and NRPP are tested by XRD to obtain the corresponding spectra,diffraction peak data and crystal structure.The results show that the crystal structure of all realgar products are the same;Compared with realgar products,the crystal structure 3 batches of NRPP do not change.The crystal structure of remaining 7 batches changes.Reference to the total arsenic content of the Realgar content determination of each realgar samples and reference to the As2O3 content of realgar samples from General(four)Determination of arsenic salt method second method,the results show that the total arsenic content of each realgar sample:Realgar water process>crude products>NRPP;As2O3 content:NRPP>crude products>Realgar water process.The trace elements content of Realgar and NRPP containing lead,cadmium,copper,iron,zinc,manganese are detected by Atomic absorption spectroscopy.The results show that the heavy metal content of realgar samples containing Lead,cadmium,copper is in line with"Chinese Pharmacopoeia"requirement.The realgar toxicity test(YC10)and its NRPP(NRPP10)produced in Hunan Shimen Mining Area were selected as the research object to carry out acute toxicity test.The results show that the toxicity of Realgar products and NRPP is little difference.The toxicity of Realgar products is lower than NRPP.The test sample of containing higher content of the As2O3 is easier to make animals death.Compared with the blank group,behavioral activities of the survival animals is difference within 3 days after administration.The difference is not obvious after 3 days.
