Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy on knee osteoarthritis treated by Fu’s subcutaneous needling(FSN)and to provide reference for clinical treatment of knee osteoarthritis with FSN.Method:Seventy patients with knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into FSN group(35 cases)and conventional acupuncture(CA)group(35 cases)in randomized controlled way.In FSN group, the tightened muscle around the knee as the needling target were loosened by a FSN needle swaying in subcutaneous tissue and reperfusion approach. In CA group, the local acupoints, aahshi points, and dialectical acupuncture points.were selected and conventional acupuncture was applied with irradiation of biological treatment. The patients in two groups were treated once every other day for 6 times. The pain visual analogue scale(VAS)was collected before treatment, after the first treatment,at the end of the course of treatment and at one month after the completion of the treatment course. The Western Ontario and McMaster University Osteoarthritis Index(WOMAC)was picked up before treatment,at the end of the course of treatment, and at one month after the completion of the treatment course in two groups. The curative effect was evaluated according to the data of WOMAC.SPSS22.0 software package was used to analyze the data of the two groups and to compare the curative effect difference between FSN group and CA group.Result:①The VAS scores in two groups were decreased significantly after the first treatment(P<0.05).At the end of the treatment course and one month after the completion of the treatment course,VAS and WOMAC scores were significantly lower than those before treatment in two groups(P<0.05).(2)Compared with the CA group,VAS and WOMAC scores decreased more in FSN group at different times(P<0.05).③At the end of the course of treatment, total effective rate was 93.94%in FSN group and 81.25%in CA group(P>0.05).The curative and remarkably efficient rate in FSN group was 66.67%,which was superior to 28.13%in CA group(P<0.05).At 1 month after the completion of the treatment course, the curative and remarkably efficient rate and total effective rate in FSN group were 36.36%and 78.79%,respectively,which were apparently higher than 12.50%and 50.00%in CA group(P<0.05).Conclusion:FSN could effectively relieve pain and dysfunction of knee osteoarthritis.FSN has the characteristics of quick onset, exact curative effect, safety and no side effect, and is superior to conventional acupuncture treatment. It is worth popularizing in clinic.
