Objective:The clinical data of 265 lung cancer patients were collected to observe the effects of western medicine treatment and TCM treatment on the survival period and 1,3,and 5-year productivity of lung cancer patients. The effectiveness of TCM treatment on lung cancer patients was evaluated, and the related factors affecting the prognosis of lung cancer were explored to provide reference for individualized treatment of lung cancer with integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Methods:Through retrospective analysis, the clinical data of 265 patients were collected and studied. The influencing factors were collected from the three aspects of the patient’s general condition, incidence and treatment methods.Kaplan-Meier method was used to perform single factor survival analysis. The differences were tested by the Log-rank method. The difference was statistically significant at P<0.05.The survival rate, mean survival time, median survival time, and median disease progression time were calculated for each group.Factors were included in the Cox regression model for multivariate analysis to screen for prognostic factors in lung cancer. Results:A univariate Kaplan-Meier analysis of 265 patients with lung cancer revealed that among factors that affect overall survival of lung cancer patients, gender, age, smoking history,ZPS score, pathological type, differentiation, size of tumor, number of tumors, stage, lymph node Metastasis, distant metastasis, surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, dialectical classification of traditional Chinese medicine, and traditional Chinese medicine treatment were examined by Log rank test P<0.05,suggesting that the above factors are all related to prognosis.A significant variable in the univariate analysis that affected the prognosis of lung cancer patients was included in the Cox model and a stepwise regression model was performed(α-in=0.05,α-out=0.10).The results showed: ZPS score, tumor stage, chemotherapy,Chinese medicine treatment,Pathological types were independent factors that affected overall survival(P<0.05).Conclusion:Long-term traditional Chinese medicine treatment can significantly improve the prognosis of patients with lung cancer and effectively prolong the survival of patients. The best treatment model for lung cancer is the multidisciplinary comprehensive treatment of traditional Chinese medicine;ZPS score, tumor stage, pathological type, chemical treatment, traditional Chinese medicine Treatment is an independent factor that affects overall survival.
