Construction Of Evaluation Index System Of Core Competence Of Nurses In Anesthesia

[Purpose]The development of anesthesia nursing in China is accelerating,but nurses’role orientation,division of responsibilities,independence and professionalism in the Department of anesthesiology are still relatively unclear.This topic adopts qualitative and quantitative research methods to structure an evaluation index system for the core competency of anesthetic nurses in line with the status of nursing practice in China.It will provide an objective reference standard for the future anesthetic specialist nurses’appointments,training and assessment,and provides a strong theoretical basis for the core competence of nurses to explore the objectives,core courses and the establishment of standardized training system for nurses,which will promote the development of the anesthetic nursing specialty.[Methods]This study through literature research,theoretical analysis and other methods to understand the development status of anesthesia professional nurses at home and abroad.By qualitative interview,face to face interviews with clinical anesthesiology experts and anesthesiology experts were conducted respectively to preliminarily construct the evaluation index system of core competency of Anesthesiology specialist nurses.Two rounds of consultations were conducted by Delphi,and statistical indexes such as the experts’ enthusiasm,authority,familiarity and the concentration of expert opinions were calculated,and the representativeness and credibility of the Delphi method were tested.The reliability of the index system is tested by Cronbach’s alpha method.Constructing a core competency framework model for professional nurses in line with the status of anesthesia nursing practice,and objective to analyze the contents and indicators of the core competency evaluation index system of anesthetic specialist nurses,and establish the weight coefficient of the one or two level indicators.All data were analyzed and processed by statistical software Excel2010 and SPSS18.0.[Results]The study finally included 19 experts who met the requirements,and analyzed the effective data obtained by Delphi method.① Analysis the definition of anesthesia specialist nurses and their core competencies.②Analysis the evaluation index system of core competence of anesthetized nurses was analyzed.There were 6 first level indexes(clinical nursing ability,critical thinking ability,communication and coordination ability,nursing management ability,professional development ability,scientific literacy),21 two level index and 88 three grade index.③ Through the Delphi method,the rate of recoveries of the two rounds of questionnaires were 90%and 94.7%,and the effective recovery rates were 100%and 89.5%,which shows that the positive coefficient of the expert are better;the authoritative coefficients of the two rounds were 0.836 and 0.850 respectively,indicating that the authority of the experts was higher and the result of the inquiry could be depended on.The analysis of reliability results:the Cronbach a of the first grade index is 0.788,Cronbach a of the two grade index is between 0.484～0.845,and the three level index is between 0.352～0.948,which is medium and high reliability.It shows that the index system has good credibility;the analytic hierarchy process(AHP)defines that the weight coefficients of the 6 first level indexes are 0.3689、0.0486、0.2425、0.2419、0.0613、0.0368,respectively.The consistency test of the first level index CR value is 0.0650 and the the two level index is 0.0141-0.0863,which are all less than 0.1,indicating that the judgement matrix of this study has good consistency.[Conclusion]This study defines the anaesthesia specialist nurses and the concept of core competence with qualitative and quantitative methods,and establish the anesthesia specialty nurses framework model of core competence on the basis of the scientific statistical methods,finally established the evaluation index system,and set up the weight coefficient of index,to provides some references of anesthesia specialty nurses for the future employment,training,assessment and the curriculum of anesthesia specialist nurse.
