ObjectiveTo explore the risk factors of recurrence and metastasis of patients with typeⅡ,Ⅲadenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction after radical operation.MethodsA retrospective study was conducted to collect the clinical data of146 patients with typeⅡ,Ⅲadenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction underwent radical gastrectomy from January 2010 to January 2013 in our hospital.Chi-square test and multivariate logistic regression analysis were performed to study the influence of influence Relevant risk factors for tumor recurrence or metastasis.ResultsThe median recurrence time of typeⅡ,Ⅲadenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction was 17months,and the recurrence and metastasis rate was40.4%.Univariate analysis showed that the recurrence or metastasis of typeⅡ,Ⅲadenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction were related to tumor diameter, gross type, histological type, depth of invasion, number of positive lymph node metastasis, number of negative lymph nodes,TNM stage and vascular invasion. The results were statistical significance(χ~2=6.051,9.006,19.841,15.437,56.988,11.050,51.615,31.291,P<0.05).Logistic regression showed that the type of differentiation, the number of metastatic lymph nodes, and the invasion of vascular embolus were the independent risk factors of recurrence and metastasis of typeⅡ,Ⅲadenocarcinoma of esophagogastric junction(P<0.05).Conclusions Tissue differentiation type, the number of positive lymph node metastases, and vascular infiltration are important factors in predicting the recurrence and metastasis of typeⅡ,Ⅲesophageal-gastric adenocarcinoma after radical operation.
