Osteoporosis is a degenerative age-related disease,the main symptoms of osteopenia,bone microstructure changes.Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells(BMSCs)are the progenitor cells of osteoblasts,which have the function of multi-directional differentiation.The aged BMSCs cells have weaker ability of osteogenic differentiation and adipogenic differentiation,therefore,it is more difficult to treat osteoporosis in the elderly big.Decreasing the aging of BMSCs and promoting their osteogenic differentiation is a breakthrough way to improve the bone quality of the elderly.Resveratrol has anti-oxidation,anti-inflammatory and other functions,then resveratrol can inhibit the aging of BMSCs and promote their osteogenic differentiation,and then the treatment of osteoporosis in the elderly it? The study of BMSCs derived from different month-old cells showed that with the increase of age,the proportion of aged BMSCs increased and the rate of cell proliferation slowed down.After adding resveratrol,the aging phenomenon of BMSCs decreased,and showed a concentration-dependent manner,at the same time,the osteogenic differentiation ability of BMSCs was significantly enhanced.Further study found that resveratrol reversed the role of aging BMSCs by activating AMPK signaling pathway,thereby inhibiting intracellular reactive oxygen species to achieve.The discovery of these results reveals that resveratrol promotes the osteogenic differentiation of BMSCs and provides a new direction for the treatment of osteoporosis in the elderly.
