Objectives:The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between serum vitamin D and free testosterone levels in middle-aged men with T2 DM,measure blood glucose and lipids, analyze the relationship between serum vitamin D and Glycolipid metabolism index.Methods:1.Continuously collected T2 DM patients aged 40 to 60 years old who were hospitalized in the Department of Endocrinology and Metabolism of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from August 2017 to January 2018.A total of 180 patients were included in the study. All subjects measured blood pressure, waist circumference(WC),height and weight, and calculated body mass index. All patients were fasted after 22:00 the day before. The blood sample was taken from the second ventral sera to determine serological indicators and the HOMA-IR(CP)index was calculated.2.According to 2011 US Endocrine Association, the diagnostic criteria for vitamin D deficiency were divided into three groups: 25(OH)D3<20.0 ng/m L for vitamin D deficiency group, and 20.0 ng/mL≤25(0H)D3<30.0 ng/mL for vitamin D deficiency group.Ml,vitamin D sufficient group: 25(OH)D3≥30.0 ng/mL.Analyze whether the three groups of variables have statistical differences.According to the subjects’ free testosterone(FT)and total testosterone(TT)levels were divided into three groups, analyze whether there were statistical differences among the three groups of indicators.Taking the vitamin D and FT as dependent variables respectively, stepwise multiple linear regression analysis was performed on the influencing factors. All data use SPSS 17.0 for statistical analysis.Results:1.Inclusion of the clinical features of the study subjectsA total of 180 subjects were included. The average serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D3 level was 20.11±8.33 ng/mL,the average FT level was 19.27±7.24 ng/d L,and theaverage TT level was 362.50(294.25~434.50)ng/dL.2.Correlation between vitamin D and various indicatorsThere was a negative correlation between smoking,T/E and vitamin D levels, and there was a positive correlation between LH,FSH,E2,FT,TT and vitamin D levels. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.Comparison of various indicators among the three groupsAccording to the vitamin D levels were divided into three groups,Analyze whether the indicators have statistical differences in the three groups, the results showed that the duration of diabetes,LH,PRL,FSH,FT,TT,T / E,TG in the three groups there is a statistical difference(P <0.05).4.Comparison of various indicators of FT three-digit groupingThe FT was divided into three groups and the results showed that the duration of Diabetes, age, vitamin D,LH,PRL,FSH,FT,T/E,TG,HbA1 C and FBG of each diabetes group were statistically different in the three groups(P<0.05).5.Comparison of various indicators of TT three-digit groupingThe TT was divided into three groups and the results showed that there were significant differences in the duration of diabetes, age, vitamin D,LH,PRL,FSH,FT,T/E,TG,HbA1 C,and FBG in the three groups(P<0.05).6.Analysis of vitamin D influencing factorsVitamin D was used as the dependent variable, the confounding factors such as diabetes duration,LH,FSH,TG,HbA1 C,FBG,T/E,and TT were excluded.Multiple linear regression analysis was used to analyze the influencing factors of vitamin D.The results showed age(B=0.105),FT(B=0.848)and PRL(B=0.096)are independent influencing factors of vitamin D,and the difference is statistically significant.7.Analysis of FT influencing factorsFT was used as the dependent variable, and the confounding factors such as diabetes duration,age,LH,FSH,TG,HbA1 C,and FBG were excluded.Multiple linear regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of FT.The results showed that vitamin D(B = 0.716),T/E(B)=-0.308),TT(B = 0.002)and PRL(B =-0.093)were independent influencing factors of FT,and the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusions:1.Middle-aged men with T2 DM have low vitamin D levels.2.There is an independent positive correlation between serum vitamin D and free testosterone in middle-aged male T2 DM patients, suggesting that vitamin D supplementation may increase testosterone levels in T2 DM patients.
