| Objective: Through the intervention of blood flow restriction combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation in patients with stroke,it was observed whether this treatment can promote the recovery of lower limb function in patients with hemiplegia.Aimed to provide a new idea for treatment of clinical rehabilitation. Methods: 60 cases of stroke patients from Department of Neurology or rehabilitation Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical College were collected from January 2016 to December2017.All participants were randomly divided into experiment group(RR+NMES+BFR),control group(RR+NMES),and 30 cases each group. All participants were stimulated in its respective intervention group for 20 min/d,5 d/wk,for six weeks;before and after treatment, using activities of daily living(modified Barthel index,MBI),Lower extremity subscale of Fugl-Meyer motor function assessment(LE-FMA),6 minutes walking distance test, manual muscle test(MMT)to evaluate their daily life active function.Manual muscle test includes the iliopsoas, musculi quadriceps femoris, hamstring muscles, tibialis anterior muscle. All statistics were analyzed by PSSS18.0.Results: Before intervention, the scores of MBI and LE-FMA in the experimental group and the control group were not statistically significant(P >0.05).After treatment of 6 weeks, the scores of MBI and LE-FMA in the experimental group and the control group were higher than that before the treatment, and the treatment group was more obvious than the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).Two groups were not statistically significant difference(P >0.05)on the walking ability of within 6 minutes walking distance before treatment. After treatment of 6 weeks, the walking distance of the two groups was increased, and the treatment group was more obvious than the control group, and the difference is statistically significant(P <0.05).Before treatment, the MMT of patients in two groups was not statistically significant difference(P>0.05).After 6 weeks of treatment, the MMT in two groups was higher than before treatment, and the difference was statisticallysignificant.(P <0.05);The MMT of the iliopsoas, musculi quadriceps femoris and hamstrings in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).While the difference of anterior tibial muscle was not significant between the two groups.(P >0.05).Conclusion:1.Blood flow restriction combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation can promote the recovery of lower limbs muscle strength in stroke patients.2.Blood flow restriction combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation can improve the motor function of the lower extremities.3.Blood flow restriction combined with neuromuscular electrical stimulation can improve the patient’s daily life and walking ability. |
