The Study On Daily Life Of The Southern Song Dynasty Based On “Yi Jian Zhi”

Social changes between Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty are not only reflected in the changes in the political environment, economic environment and cultural environment, but more reflected in people’s daily life. The concept of life and lifestyle, which formed in daily life of Southern Song Dynasty’s people, let Southern Song Dynasty distinguish to Northern Song Dynasty. And it make Southern Song Dynasty became the transformation period of Chinese social life. So the study of the daily life in Southern Song Dynasty has important significance in understanding social changes of Song Dynasty, and in deepen the China’s social life history research."Yi Jian Zhi" is written by Hong Mai in Song Dynasty. Although it is a literary stretch which is collection of anecdotes, but it has preserved rich and complex information of daily life in Southern Song Dynasty. "Yi Jian Zhi" largely reflects the living conditions and ideas of the people in Southern Song Dynasty. Especially it’s description of the way of daily life and leisure activities and so on, is very rich and detailed. This is a great value for the study of the particularity of daily life in the Southern Song Dynasty.This thesis reviews previous scholars’ research status on " Yi Jian Zhi " and social life of Southern Song Dynasty.Based on "Yi Jian Zhi",the study focus on the daily life of the Southern Song Dynasty.the author will study on two main aspects of basic necessities of daily life and leisure activities.So that we can elaborate Song unique way and concept of the daily life in Southern Song Dynasty. And the author will further study the social life changes between Northern Song Dynasty and Southern Song Dynasty and its’ significant impact.
