The Relationship Among Adult Attachment, Conflict Strategy And Romantic Relationship Satisfaction Of College Students

The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between adult attachment, conflict strategy and the satisfaction of romantic relationship among dating undergraduates. The respondents are selected from three universities’ undergraduates in Changchun, by the way of the class survey and personal interview The undergraduates in love was chosen from class survey as a valid part of questionnaires.The undergraduates was asked whether they were in love in advance.If they were in love,they would fill in questionnaires.The respondents are 200 dating undergraduates.This research adopted the questionnaires.respectively the Quality of Relationship Index, the Experience in Close Relationship inventory and the EVLN Measures of problem solving.Three questionnaires were used to reveal the relationship between adult attachment and the satisfaction of romantic relationship with the role of conflict strategy. Finally come to the following conclusions:1The satisfaction of romantic relationship among dating undergraduates is at a moderate level, there is a significant difference in the grade and the cite that the dating undergraduates are in the same or not, and there is an interaction between the locations and the city that the dating undergraduates are in the same or not.2Adult attachment avoidance and anxiety among the dating undergraduates are at a middle but lower level, and the majority of college students is the Fearful Attachment. There is a significant difference between the city that the dating undergraduates are in the same or not and the duration of their romantic relationship, and there is an interaction between single-child and the locations.3The dating undergraduates engage in higher level of the Exit problem-solving.There are significant difference among gender,technicality,the city that they were in the same or not and the duration of their romantic relationship.4There are correlation among the Avoidance of adult attachment,the Exit of conflict strategy and the satisfaction of romantic relationship.The more avoidant individuals are less satisfied with their romantic relationships.Tendencies to react with exit is significantly predictive of the satisfaction of romantic relationship.5The association between avoidance and the satisfaction of romantic relationship are mediated by the tendencies to react with exit.
