| MFA, the abbreviation of The Master of Fine Arts, has been a mature acadamic degree in the developed countries, which aims to cultivate the high-level artistic talents in the field of art practice. We referanced to the MFA degree in order to compensate for our current disadvantage in the degree system of fine arts, and established MFA in 2005. At present, the development of China’s MFA degree is still in its primary stage, and there are still many problems in its cultivation, mainly in the looseness of structure and the hardness into system. It is high time to establish an effective cultivation mode in the universitiy to ensure the quality of the output of high-level artistic talents.
