Research On The Variation Of The Network Buzzwords

With the birth and rapid development of the Internet, the ways of information dissemination and communication have deep changed,the social language also have brought a significant impact.The development and changes in network era mirror the changes on the ways of thinking and communicating of human beings, so that shows the characteristics of variation of language.Vocabulary is the most active factor in language, together with the Internet users mainly use the keyboard to communicate instead of using their voices in the network environment,so the variation of the network buzzwords generally embodies in the vocabulary level. Word is the combination of sound, form and meaning. The variation of buzzwords generally refers to the relationship between signifier and signified of the words being broken,the original form of signifier of words being changed or the original signifier being blessed with new content, which making the form and content of the buzzword deviate in some extent.The linguistics circle has done an extensive research on Linguistic variation of language and network language, but the research on the variation of buzzwords is still lack of systematic,this article is set up on the basis of previous studies from the perspective of general linguistics and cognitive linguistics,and show a comprehensive study of the variation of the network buzzwords.Based on the buzzwords collected from the online corpora,the type of the variation of the network words can be divided into three terms of which parts of speech, semantic and morphology. As the original part of speech for reference, the variation of the part of speech of buzzwords contains nouns, adjectives, verbs, onomatopoetic and quantifiers,the variation of the part of speech can also cause the semantic variation at the same time. The semantic variation reflects on the rational meanings and emotional meanings. Morphological variation refers to the expression of words varied. Inspect the ways of the Network buzzwords from the rhetoric and the cognitive perspective, the ways of rhetoric consists of the morphological and semantic variation, rhetoric such as harmonics rhetoric innovating the expressing form of buzzwords, unconventional explanations of old words dues to the recombination of relation between signifier and signified;the ways of cognitive contains the variation of morphology, meaning and part of speech, such as the phonetics,semantic and grammatical metaphor, phonetic and semantic metonymy.Reasons on the variation of the network buzzwords refer to the external causes such as social development, language contact, social psychology,internal causes such as mutual restriction between language elements and the analogy mechanism of language,varied network words are often the result of joint action of many factors.The phenomenon of the variation of the Network buzzwords has its own characteristics of universality and temporariness.The existence of this phenomenon has a profound influence to the language specification and language teaching,to which we should pay attention, the normative use of these words is what we should continue to focus on.
