| This thesis took JIANGXI NORMAL UNIVERSITY’s Madagascar students learning Chinese as research object. Then did a research about their acquisition of chinese "eating" related words that contain cultural meaning, and accordingly put forward the principles and methods of teaching. For non-Chinese cultural circle of students, including student Madagascar, the cultural significance of Chinese vocabulary is one of the difficult part of learning Chinese, especially "eating" related words that contain cultural meaning.1. According to information collected:Because of China’s traditional historical and cultural background, "eat" and its relevant words and expressions are omnipresent in chinese language, through the analysis of traditional Chinese culture and the Chinese way of thinking we can interprete the cultural meaning of "eat" and its relevant words and expressions.2. According to the survey results demonstrate:Malagasy student understanding the cultural significance of "eat" and its relevant words and expressions was not deep enough. Learning Chinese more than three years already belongs to advanced level, but these investigators did not have completely answered right to the questionnaire, and learning Chinese less than 3 years investigators mistake rate is higher.3. Through the survey found these types of errors:First, the cultural significance of vocabulary terms bias. Self-assessment, this type of bias, because they rely on a literal meaning to understand a word. Then, the bias on the type of context:learners confused with a "eat" locale or using the object using vocabulary.4. "eat" and its relevant words and expressions is one of the very important part of Chinese vocabulary base, and they are needed in daily communication, therefore I think that "eat" and its relevant words and expressions is an important part of learning Chinese. This paper also proposessome teaching principles and teaching methods. |
