The Study On The Common Phenomena Of Monk Poets’ Laborious Versifying In The Late Tang Dynasty And The Five Dynasties

A large number of extant poems wrote by the group of monk poets who lived in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties in ancient China,and their poems show the outstanding feature of Laborious Versifying. This paper is divided into four parts:The introduction section is a review on the research of the late Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties monk poets` common phenomena of Laborious Versifying, and explains the importance of this selected topic and research techniques,etc.Chapter 1 pointed out the monk poets` Laborious Versifying in the late Tang Dynasty and the Five Dynasties was a common phenomenon, and trying to through analysis two parts of Laborious Versifying to make a definition.Chapter 2 discusses the reasons of the late Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties monk poets` Common Phenomena of Laborious Versifying. The reasons mainly include the influence of the social background,the particular aesthetic fashion and the similarities between poems and the Buddhism.Chapter 3 is the analysis on reflection of the feature of Laborious Versifying in the late Tang Dynasty and Five Dynasties monks` poetry,includes the analysis of working on the using words, selecting imagery and style of poems.The conclusion made a summary and a brief description of the future generations` comments,in order to be comprehensive and objective to the phenomena.
