Research On Lama Stories Of The Mongolian Folk

The paper synthetically studies lama stories in Inner Mongolia with theory methods of motif type,folk art,science of religion,cultural anthropology and so on,It emphatically classifies the types of lama stories,explains the symbolic meaning of motifs and images,interprets the cultural meaning of stories,While the paper proposes that lama stories in Mongolian folk has reflected social history change after Buddhism transmitted to Mongolian area.The paper consists of four parts:introduction,text body,conclusion and reference,Introduction includes research status,topic purpose and research methods.Text body is divided into three chapters.The first chapter analyzes the type and motif of Lama Stories in Mongolian folk. Analyze three types which are sarcasm with proverb intimidating thieves with incantations, rescuing master by reading scriptures, while study three motifs which includes retaliation, deception and lying.The second chapter analyzes the images of lama which appear in the Mongolian folk.It specifically analyzes not only the justice image of lama who has spell, wisdom and loyalty, but also negative image of lama who deceives others, covet financial and benefit.The third chapter analyzes faith and folk culture in the Mongolian folk lama stories, and summarizes the effect of lama stories in Mongolian folk.
