Interpretation Of Singing Of The Aria "O Luce Di Quest’ Anima" From The Opera "Linda Di Chamounix"

Gaetano Donizetti(1797-1848) is a famous opera composer of Italy in the early 19th century. The aria "0 luce di quest’anima" comes from his opera "Linda di Chamounix". It is a famous aria of Coloratura Soprano, because of its beautiful melody, luxuriant coloratura skills, and the successful showing of Linda’s joyful mood for love.In this paper, the aria’s singing is the main research content. It can be divided into three parts:introduction, body and conclusion. In the main body,at first,a brief overview of Donizetti and his opera; the second, the opera "Linda di Chamounix" and the aria "0 luce di quest’ anima" is to be introduced; the last is the focus of this paper, mainly for the analysis of the recitative and aria, also combined with singing practice,make an analysis of music treatment and technical problems. In order to improve the interpretation of the aria as much as possible. The study of the aria is less in home, I hope through the study of this aria, it can produced some reference for the other performers.
