The Research On The Relationship Between Drivers’ Safety Attitude And Driving Style

Safety attitude,that respect for life is the prerequisite for the security of psychological bias.Each driver safety attitude very different,different security attitudes of drivers,their driving style,there are also differences.The so-called driver’s driving style refers to the process of driving the customary manner or face habitual driving maneuver when the complex driving environment.This study was to explore the different security attitudes is the driver exists on driving style,whether the driver can be used as predictors of favorable driving style.This study in Guiyang City,Guizhou Province and Dalian City,Liaoning Province,the two cities,randomized way home selected 227 practical driving experience as a driver subjects.This study is the Chinese version of the research tool Multidimensional Scale driving style and driver safety attitude scale,participants are requested in order to complete two scales test.Differential utilization of demographic factors and driver safety attitude,the use of single-factor analysis of variance,correlation analysis of scientific statistical analysis and hierarchical regression analysis to explore the driving style can be a strong predictor factor.Conclusions are as follows:First: violation of speed and attitude MDSI-C adventure,anger,anxiety,distraction,speed was positively correlated,negatively correlated with MDSI-C safety.Others careless attitude and anger MDSI-C,safety was positively correlated with MDSI-C anxiety,distraction was negatively correlated,there is no correlation with the rest of the dimensions.Drinking and driving attitudes and MDSI-C adventure,anger,anxiety,distraction,speed was positively correlated,not correlated with MDSI-C safety.Second: the driver of each demographic factors and driver safety factor main effects of different attitudes on safe driving style variation explained was 12.1%,and anxiety-type driving style variation explained 15.2% of risk-taking driving style variation explained was 37.8%,based on the driving style of anger explain variation was 23.7%.Third: others careless attitude towards safe driving style predicted higher forces,in violation of the attitude of the higher rate of anxiety-type driving style and driving style adventure type of prediction force,attitudes toward drinking and driving anger high-type driving style prediction forces.In summary,the present study first explores the different effects differences driver safety attitudes toward driving style,the attitude of driver safety driving style has some predictive force.
