| This is a comparison report about the technical English Interpretation and non-technical English translation. The writer chose two totally different translation cases to describe how they they were done. The report describes the interpretation of the products training experience and the experience in handling oral translation in international activities.The report consists of three parts. The first chapter is about the good part and the bad part in the technical interpretation, the second chapteris focusing on the non-technical translation and thoughts about the improvements. The third chapter is the final conclusion paragraph.The report focused on "pre-interpretation preparation". Two sections were included in the first part. In the case analysis, three translation methods are elaborated, there are amplification and omission,replacement and simplification. And meanwhile, the author also points out mistranslation and pretermission. In the second part of the report, the writer made a more detailed description, something related to foreign reception were written,such as airport pick up and lunch experience.The third part is the comparison between technical interpretation and non-technical interpretation, finding out similarities and differences. |
