On The Food Packaging Safety From The Perspective Of Responsibility Ethics

According to Yuan Shi--Shihuo Zhi,“The State takes the people as the foundation;the people take food as the essence.” Food safety is a matter of top priority related to the livelihood of all masses and the nation’s welfare.As the "coat" of food,food packaging is the basic guarantee of life and health.Considering that food packaging accidents occur frequently in recent years,the increasingly severe food packaging safety problem urges the researches and solutions on food packaging safety.In studying problems in the food packaging safety,the author found that a lack of ethics in food packaging safety bears the primary responsibility.Therefore,strengthening the researches of food packaging on the safety ethical dimension,especially from the perspective of responsibility ethics,is the crucial step for solving the current food packaging safety problems.Based on the analysis of safety connotation of food packaging,this paper gives a retrospection of status quo of food packaging safety and the existing ethics risks,analyze the deep reasons on the basic theory of responsibility ethics,thus identifying the responsibility subject.Then the paper discusses the responsibility ethics of packaging designers,enterprises and government in food packaging safety respectively.Packaging designers should comply with the safety standards and regulations of the food packaging,meet the need of safety usage for the special groups,and reflect the pursuit of the truth,the goodness,and the beauty of the value demand as well as highlighting the environmental conception.Packaging enterprises should abide by the idea of green packaging,integrity packaging,simple packaging and science technology packaging for food packaging.Government should educate and guide the responsibility awareness of food packaging safety,improve the laws and regulations,perfect of the supervision system and guide the public opinions,strengthen the regulatory value and meaning of responsibility ethics on food packaging safety,thus achieving comprehensive security of food packaging..
