Relationship Between College Students' Adult Attachment,Rejective Sensitivity And Social Adaptability

Adult attachment is the memories and extraction of the early experience in attachment,and the evaluation of early attachment experience now.She points out that a person's personal characteristics formation and the development of human society function and the establishment of an adult relationship will be under the influence of adult attachment.The rejection sensitivity is a kind of personality tendency of the individual to refuse to preliminary awareness,anxiety in expected,and overreaction.When the rejection sensitivity of individual get activated,will produce a series of negative emotion and negative emotion and cognition,which leads to reduce the psychological and social adaptation ability.As the adult attachment and rejection sensitivity research has just started in domestic,it is necessary to further explore.Even though studies have shown that rejection sensitivity and insecure attachment in relationships were similar,unlike insecure attachment insecure attachment,refused to sensitivity mainly embodied in the specific social situation,it will be for the individual in the interpersonal process of cognitive emotional impact.the rejection sensitivity is mainly reflected in the specific social context,the impact it has on the individual in the process of interpersonal communication among the cognitive emotion.The rejection sensitivity is considered as the detail description of cognitive emotion subprocesses of attachment internal working mechanism(Ayduk,Downey,&Pietrzak,2005),which concerned about the individual to the situation,the behavior of others and the intentions of the evaluation and reaction of the individual,but the attachment is concerned with internalized characterization.Therefore it is important to carry out a detailed study of the relationship between the adult attachment and the rejection sensitivity.College students' mental health and social adaptation ability,is directly related to social harmony and stability and prosperity.Therefore,the research on College Students' social adaptability has practical significance.In order to make further research on the relationship between the adult attachment and the rejection sensitivity,this paper uses questionnaire sampling survey of 920 university students.The results showed that:(1)There were no significant gender difference among the college students' adult attachment styles,rejection,sensitivity and social adaptability sensitivity.The three dimensions of adult attachment,except to close,boys than girls,there is no significant sex difference in dependence and anxiety dimension.Students' security,preemption,rejection,and fear,the proportion distribution of the four types of attachment for 58.7%,17.2%,10.7%,17.2%,the differences between them have statistical significance.Security type proportion was higher than that of preemption,rejection and fear,preemption type proportion was higher than that of rejection and fear,rejection and fear proportion difference is not obvious.(2)There are certain correlation between adult attachment and rejection sensitivity.Close attachment and dependence and rejection are significantly negative correlation,attachment anxiety was positively correlated significantly with the rejection sensitivity.Adult attachment and social adaptation have a certain correlation,attachment intimacy and dependence and social adaptation have correlated significantly,attachment anxiety and social adaptability have negative correlation.College students' rejection sensitivity and social adaptability have significant negative correlation.(3)The rejection sensitivity,attachment anxiety and closeness attachment can effectively predict college students' social adaptability.(4)Students' rejection sensitivity plays an intermediary role in the relationship between the attachment anxiety and social adaptability.
