Music Of Tibetan Ambo Region

Tibetan,which is regarded as a nationality with a character of dancing at any time even as they are walking and talking. It is distributed in the Tibet autonomous region, Sichuan province (Kangzang plateau), Qinghai and Yunnan, Gannan region of Gansu, etc. Tibetan as an ancient nation, in the long time of accumulation, gave birth to the brilliant and excellent national culture and art, due to geographical factors, Tibetan music form is various, and with a wide range. Gannan Tibetan autonomous prefecture is located in Gansu province which is in the northeast edge of Qinghai-Tibet plateau, with a vast region and ethnic flavor, unique plateau natural human environment, gave birth to its unique style, bold and vigorous folk song and dance art, true portraiture of plateau agriculture and animal husbandry production life, and finally resulted in unique folk music and its culture of Gannan Tibetan.In this paper, the folk music(Layi, Le, Rap music, Playing music, Song-dance music) in Tibetan area of Gannan was discussed from the viewpoints of art, content and features. The religious music was elaborated by concerning Songjing, Qiangmu dance and temple instrumental music. And Nanmute Tibetan drama, as a distinctive kind of Tibetan drama, was stated from its historical formation, characterization and comparison with conventional Tibetan drama.Based on these three kinds of music of Gannan Tibetan area, promote their protection developments, traditional Tibetan music in developing problems and corresponding solving measures, hoping to keep the survival and development of Tibetan traditional music better.
