With modern commercial economy developing and social culture preferring extroverted personality, the differences of introverted and extroverted personality have drawn researchers'attention. Currently, domestic researches concerning extroversion-introversion personality mainly focus on college students and general personality traits. Whereas in this study, research objects were postgraduates and research theme was extroversion-introversion personality. This research aimed to understand the current situation of extroversion-introversion personality in postgraduates, as well as discuss the relations of extroversion-introversion personality, adult attachment and loneliness.In this study, methods of scale test, questionnaire survey, random sampling and statistical analysis were utilized. Scales included Eysenck Personality Questionnaire-Revised, Short Scale for Chinese (EPQ-RSC), Adult Attachment Scale (AAS) and Loneliness Scale (UCLA). After statistical analysis, the following conclusions were reached:(1) The number of introverted personality and extroverted personality in postgraduates were approximately equal, which were both far less than intermediate personality. And there exited demographic differences in grades, relationship with their parents, liking their own personality or not.(2) The maximum number of adult attachment styles in postgraduates was security type, orderly followed by fearful type, obsessed type and alienation type. And there exited demographic differences in relationship status, love experience, liking their own personality or not, and relationship with their parents.(3) The overall intensity of loneliness in postgraduate was medial. People of moderate loneliness were the most, orderly followed by people of high loneliness and people of low loneliness. And there exited demographic differences in grade and relationship with their parents.(4) There were significant correlations among extraversion-introversion personality, adult attachment and loneliness of postgraduates. Firstly, personality extraversion was positively correlated with adult attachment close dependence dimension and negatively correlated with adult attachment anxiety dimension. Secondly, personality extraversion was negatively correlated with loneliness. Thirdly, loneliness was negatively correlated with adult attachment close dependence dimension and positively correlated with adult attachment anxiety dimension.(5) Adult attachment close dependence dimension and adult attachment anxiety dimension had respectively positive prediction and negative prediction on personality extraversion; personality extraversion had a negative prediction on loneliness; adult attachment close dependence dimension and adult attachment anxiety dimension had respectively negative prediction and positive prediction on loneliness.(6) Extraversion-introversion personality had an intermediary role on adult attachment and loneliness.
