Through the comparison of the bright wonderful myth world with the dark dirty real world,we can find the poet's hope to transcend the troubles of the real world and to pursue the eternal happiness.The poet place the expression of his ideal,the proving of innocence and the political satire in his Myth-images/situations of the praising of ancient emperors,the memory of sacred mountain,the riding of dragon and the pursuit of beautiful women.In the wonderful myths of Chu Ci,Qu Yuan rides on the dragon,controls the Phoenix,travels across the sky and drive the gods.These imagination of fairy world and exaggerated rendering makes his poetry a magnificent and unusual style.All these are benefited from the poet's artistic processing of the ancient myths and legends.Thereby,making them to be the colorful Myth-images/situations of Chu Ci.Ancient scholars always understood Qu Yuan's inner world from the loyalty to emperor(Wang Yi,etc.)and the patriotic of his country(the Confucian of Song dynasty,etc.).It is hard to fully understand the true spirit of myth-literature of Chu Ci,only simply by the using of Confucian ethical standards to determine the value of Qu Yuan and his poetries.But if we focus our study on the myths of Chu Ci,dig deeper in these Myth-images/situations,thus we can better understand Qu Yuan's individual creativity and his complex emotions.In view of this,the purpose of this paper is to follow the writing motive of poet: saving his soul through the creation of the myth-literature.As the insertion point of this paper,we will analyze the myth-images/situations of Chu Ci at first.And our central topic is the myth-literature of Chu Ci.Then we will discuss further about the poet's complex emotions and inner world through the analysis of myth-images/situations' archetype in Chu Ci.
