It contains many legal terms, terms introduced from other fields as well as long sentences which are difficult for translators to understand. Therefore, after introducing the background information and significance of this project and analyzing the content and features of the source text in Chapter One and Two, based on the criteria of “faithfulness, expressiveness and closeness” by Liu Chongde, this report devotes a lot of efforts to explaining the guiding principles and illustrates the difficulties and solutions in the translation of some words and long sentences with examples in Chapter Three.
