According to the relevant data the world now has 60 million of Overseas Chinese and 5 million of Overseas Chinese students. And this is the indivisible part of the Chinese nation since ancient times,and made significant contributions whenever the world in in peril. The Overseas Chinese is the nation’s overseas positions. For the first generation of immigrants, who brought up by the education and influence of Chinese culture, has a deep affection for the Chinese nation. But in the second generation immigrants or third generation, they don’t and cannot have the direct memory of Chinese nation, but only from books, newspapers or the first generations’ telling and memories.They cannot find snippets of the Chinese nation, and unable to get complete information about Chinese culture, nor the Chinese cultural identity. In addition with the passage of time, memory of Chinese culture also gradually degradation, in the face of the impact of different cultures, ethnic Chinese cultural identity of first generation immigrants also gradually fade away, in the cultural anxiety, leading to the formation of a broader crisis of cultural identity.Early Overseas Chinese newspapers are mainly to provide some of the necessary information for the life of new immigrants to better integrate into the local community.But with the development of new media, Chinese newspapers are no longer the only channel to obtain the necessary information. The historical mission of overseas Chinese media has also changed. Since China’s comprehensive national strength has been rising, Chinese media’s mission transfered from the information carrier to the culture of the carrier.The Chinese Literature of the Americas as in an open and inclusive immigrant environment and diversification, globalization development era of produce and development has been to 10 years of the Chinese media, born in form of "carrier of culture", to study on it can not only explore the overseas Chinese media transition path, and also can get a glimpse of nearly a decade of overseas Chinese media to disseminate Chinese culture achievements and shortcomings.Give reference to better dissemination of Chinese culture and promote the construction cultural identity of overseas ethnic Chinese for other overseas Chinese media:Writing the common cultural imagination, triggering cultural resonance;Optimize the media environment,actively explore the transformation mode; Dissemination of content optimization,pay attention to "soft communication"; The activities of the organization, to expand its influence.
