A Study On Chinese Newspaper Reading In Teaching Chinese As A Foreign Language Based On The Writing Style

In the 1970 s newspapers reading began into the classroom of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.Originally, it just as the elective courses of intensive reading and extensive reading course and did not cause too much attention in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.But newspaper reading class can improve students’ reading level, foreign students in learning Chinese will further understanding of the Chinese written language and Chinese newspapers.But also can make students have a thorough understanding of China’s current political and national conditions, especially in China’s rapid development and remarkable achievements of the 21 st century.The students were quite interested in the status of contemporary China.And these reasons that make newspaper reading class is no longer just an elective course,which has received the attention, gradually becomes a unique part of colleges and universities have set up the course.Academic study of newspapers reading class mostly concentrated on the newspaper reading material content and newspaper language.For newspapers reading class the research of teaching method involves less. Discuss the characteristic of teaching mode based on news writing style of words, sentence and discourse. This paper finally also make stuggestions to research and teaching process where I think exist problem, hope for certain positive development of Chinese newpaper raeding in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
