Interactive teaching is a kind of teaching method that fully makes use of the subjective initiatives between teacher and students during the class and forming mutual communications and promotions between them. Although this kind of teaching method has been widely applied in Chinese teaching, the author finds that there are still problems exist in it: first, the form of interactive teaching is mainly about the interaction between teacher and students, lacking self-interaction; second, the student-to-student practices can not interest students and lead to the low participation of students; third, practices of interactive teaching are not targeted enough. The three problems talked above cause negative influences to teaching, behind which are the problems of interaction practice and the utilization of interaction method.By summarizing the experiences gained from the Goethe Institution of Sichuan International Studies University and based on the actual situation of Chinese teaching, the author redesigned the interactive teaching method of intermediate spoken Chinese from interactive practice and interaction, then applied it to the intermediate A2 class of the international collage of Chongqing University in the first semester of 2015-2016, finally evaluated the teaching effect by taking the feedback from students, auditing teachers and the author himself into consideration.Through the teaching experiment the author finds that the proportion of interactions between students rise significantly, which causes the higher willingness of students to speak; second, interaction forms are various, among them is the self-interaction that enables the internalization of language in the class; third, the various interaction training can not only motivate students but also improve their spoken skills. Finally, the three problems of interactive teaching mentioned above are solved according to the evaluations from students and their performance and other teachers. This thesis provides new ideas against the three existing problems in intermediate spoken Chinese class and references to teachers as well.
