Study On "Lao" Word Family In Chinese

The same morphemes word family is a kind of common words phenomena of semantic association in Chinese vocabulary.The words of same word family link in terms of meaning,has a certain systemic.The modern Chinese "lao" word family are not only aggregative words regarding "lao" as the morpheme,but also the morpheme-semantic meaning network forms at the core of "lao" meanings.This article selects the word "lao" as the object,emphatically from the linguistic,cognitive,cultural and other aspects to analyze its explanation,fully explore this language phenomenon.This dissertation bases on the summarizing of the experience of the former research and using for reference of production of the former research,adopting the following research methods including combining static and dynamic state,diachronic and synchronic research,quota statistics and qualitative analysis,comparing analysis methods in order to make the further research.This research is divided into four chapters as follows.Introduction:mainly expound the topics of the word family of "lao" in Chinese research,research situation and development trends,significance and innovation of research,and the definition of research methods and materials.Chapter one:Analysis words structure of the "lao" word family.Articles respectively from the structure of the compound word in the Chinese word "lao" family type,Chinese idioms and idioms in the "lao" word family structure types were discussed,and the word "lao" distribution location in the "lao" word family was investigated.Chapter two:Semantic analysis of the word "lao" and "lao" word family.The explanation of "lao" in Shuowenjiezi is "qi shi yue lao",refers to the meaning of "old man"."lao" semantic generalization,with the development of Chinese extended developed 16 meanings,grammatical function is also very flexible.Chapter three:Study on "lao" word family from the cognitive perspective.Using relevant theories of metaphor and metonymy in cognitive linguistics,the extension of "lao" word family cognitive mechanisms wereanalyzed,and discussed the formation of the "lao" word family.Combined with the specific cognitive way,explore the motivations between different meanings.Chapter four:From the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language to explore Chinese word "old" family.Word family is inherently systemic performance language,word family of in-depth and meticulous research helps us to understand and grasp the intrinsic motivation of language development,according to the word family of related research has important role for language teaching.
