The Study Of Current Comdy Spirit In Comedy Movices

In recent years,comedy movies emerges in a sudden in Chinese film market,which creates a series of box office miracle and lead the development of the entire film industry.But there exists some problems behind the prosperity,that is the decline in quality artistic.Because of excessive pursuit of business interests and ignorance of the artistic value,some of the hit comedy movies show a vulgar,superficial tendency.It has comedy form but is lack of real comedy spirit and there is a great distance compared with excellent comedy films.In this paper,the spirit of comedy films is the core to study the current ones,so I first make a definition of the connotation of comedy spirit and conclude the classic discussion to extract the core of the comedy spirit.On this basis,I extend the fresh meaning of critical spirit,transcendental consciousness and humane care,which are the contemporary spirit of comedy films.Secondly,this article analyzes the concrete manifestation of the absence of comedy spirit with the new connotation of contemporary comedy spirit as the standard.The current comedy film replaces the critical spirit with a virtual imagination and cynical attitude,the spirit of transcendence with the game spoof and sensory stimulation,people-oriented with the object-oriented,the real human care with distorted values.For the absence of comedy spirit,the paper takes the carnival mass culture as the cultural background to explore the reasons from the interest-driven film producers and the audiences’ pursuit of entertainment to death.Finally,this paper chooses some excellent classic comedy movies as examples to explore the concrete way of reconstructing comedy spirit.It points out that the comedy film should realize the reconstruction of the critical spirit in a way that boldly reveals the social problems and ironically criticizes the problems existing in the society,the reconstruction of the transcendent consciousness by means of rebelling the alienation of the human nature and recognizing self-value,and the reconstruction of humanistic care in away of self-survival and the correct values to guide people.Although the comedy film is characterized by "laugh",it is not only a tool for entertainment.The current comedy film should not only in pursuit of gorgeous external form and entertainment to death,but also focus on improving the artistic value of the film with comedy Spirit filling its inner emptiness in order to achieve double harvest of the real sense of box office and art.
