For a long time,Chinese film witnesses the evolution of society with images.In addition,the simulacrum created by film also reflects the process of social mainstream ideology,values and moral changes.The article stands in a historical perspective,using the methods of content analysis and text analysis to study all the main female roles in the realistic films which won Best Film Award and the Excellent Film Award from year 1994(the 1st)to the year 2013(the 15th).The article argues that,with time passes by,the main groups of females shaped in the film change from rural to urban.There is a transition from describing the lower education level of rural "grassroots" women to the higher education level of the city "elite" women.The Social status of female has been significantly improved.However,on the surface,women have a higher family status and emotional freedom in the family and a wider variety of professional images in society.These suggest that the films promote the recognition of independent and autonomous image of women,the equity between men and women and other scientific moral values.But if we analyze the hidden moral values behind the construction of women,we find that the moral values presented by the films did not show the corresponding temporal progress.On the one hand,the proportion of women who have freedom to choose marital relationships is decreasing year by year.On the other hand,although the films were trying to give women certain roles in the society with various occupations and higher education levels,females are still tend to be shaped as the foil roles marginalized in the workplace.Through the narrative model of "not present" fathers and image construction of"alienated" strong women,as well as the further strengthened temporal narration of family maternal,it can be found the films expressed implicitly that the female subjects are usually valuable only for family.Women’s value are reflected by their unconditional pay and sacrifice for other(male)family members.All of which reflect out-dated,unscientific moral values of communication subjects.The realistic films should focus on reflecting the contemporary social ethics and changes,but the award-winning realistic films made an obvious dislocation between the construction of female image and real life,making the films lack of authenticity.The large gap between films and real life make it hard to present empathy when the audience are in the process of viewing.Meanwhile,with time flowing over,the audience can access and choose more media resources.Audience’s senses of moral values have been constantly integrated and updated.The out-dated dissemination mode and moral values expressed by the films impede meetingaesthetic expectations of the audience,and effective spreading effect of the films’ moral values will inevitably be hampered.
