Malaysia Minnan Cultural Research

Hokkien,who has a population ratio of 40%among Chinese in Malaysia,is the largest dialect speaking group in Chinese society.Hokkienese moved from the native area has experienced the interaction and integration of pluralistic society,which symbolizes the wisdom and creativity of the people of Hokkien in Malaysia who formed a strong and unique culture of Minnan,inheritance from generation to generations.Nearly 10 years this variation of Minnan culture had attracted a lot of scholars at home and abroad dedicated to the research.In the traditional cultural of preservation and transmission of the subject increasingly the concerned of the world’s humanities and academic circles regarding the Malaysia’s unique Hokkien cultural after 200 years of development changes,there are many scholars from the perspective of traditional literature and history to explore its research value and birth The academic term of "Fujian learning"."Southeast Asia Fujian Studies"seminar has held two sessions in Malaysia,more than 30 scholars from Asia has published the Minnan culture of Fujian from historical point of view but lack of communications view.This study,from the perspective of sociology of communication and sociology of culture,takes the Malaysian Fujian as the research object and explores the panorama of the Fujian people from the past,present and future stages of the study of Fujian from the emigration to Malaysia after the local memory,identity and other field factors of the dynamic process,using their own participation in the observation,in-depth interviews and literature analysis,for its social function to make a systematic classification and summary attempt to explore from this area,and trying to analyse the culture of Fujian from interpersonal communication To the organization of communication,mass communication and even the new media era how to achieve the mission of inheritance,Minnan culture will not continue to derivative changes,and ultimately deep irreplaceable Malaysian flavour.The study found that with the deepening influence of popular culture in southern Fujian,Fujian cuisine in sublimation in Malaysia,the new media in promoting the construction of the pace of reconstruction of minnan culture,has become the focus of other native and into the stage of sharing.Due to the lack of academic research on the spread of Minnan culture and the limited ability of the author,we cannot make a more thorough discussion on the development of the culture of Minnan culture in Malaysia.However,the author believes that this angle will be explored.Depth to provide a good platform for thinking,but also will become a future focus point.
