The Drunken Concubine, written by Wang Xiaolin, composed by Zhang Zhuoya, Wang Zujie, is based on ancient historical topic in content, absorbing the merits of both Chinese drama music and modern music in creating techniques. This essay begins with a brief introduction on related knowledge of Chinese drama performance and the creation background of The Drunken Concubine, which is followed by the detailed analysis on how to put "singing", "pronouncing" and "doing" of "four techniques and five methods" in the performance of The Drunken Concubine on the foundation of referring to the document literature, interviewing some traditional Peking Opera artists and learning from tutor. In the conclusive part, The significance of learning drama performance in promoting and pushing forward the modern race vocal music art in China is lastly conveyed in this essay. On the perspective of the development of current Chinese vocal field, it is the prior obligation to learn, to ameliorate, to improve our long-inherited Chinese drama performance art, which is supposed to be utilized in vocal art in the contemporary era of us who work in this field cultural heritage data and presentation of traditional artists.
