A Practice Report On The English Translation Of The Imperative Language In The Engineering Construction Bidding Documents Of Huozhou To Yong Heguan Highway Under The Perspective Of The Skopos Theory

By taking the translation of Huozhou to Yong Heguan Highway Engineering Bidding Documents as the example,the report focuses on the discussion of the translation strategies of the imperative language in this bidding document.And this report is based on the Skopos theory,the translation practice and the relevant knowledge on bidding translation.The author analyzes the translation of imperative words and imperative phrases and also concludes the characters and the translation strategies of the imperative language in the bidding documents.Because this report covers examples from the bidding documents mentioned above,the strategies concluded herein are of some practical value.The aim of this report is to share some thoughts on the bidding document translation,to clarify the encountered problems and the solving methods and to bring certain inspiration to other translators.
