Research On The Structural Model Of Relationship Between Parental Expectations And Test Anxiety Of High School Students | | Posted on:2018-10-26 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:L Gao | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2335330512981875 | Subject:Development and educational psychology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Test anxiety and its influencing factors are point that being concerned by social circles and researchers from different field.Parental expectations are the family factor of environment that have an important effect on test anxiety.Achievement goals,academic self-efficacy were regarded as individual factors that have a directly influence on test anxiety.This study regarded parental expectations as family environmental factors and regarded academic self-efficacy and achievement goals as individual factors to investigate the relationship model of influence of parental expectations on test anxiety,and exploring the mechanism of parental expectations influence on test anxiety.Cluster sampling was used,500 Chinese high school students from grade one to grade three in Qingdao were used as participates,parental expectations scale,test anxiety scale,achievement goal orientation scale were distributed,data was analyzed by structural equation model.Results indicated that:(1)test anxiety could be indirectly influenced by parental expectations of high school students through the multiple mediation of achievement goal,academic self-efficacy;(2)achievement goal played an mediating role in the relationship of parental expectations and test anxiety,academic self-efficacy was the mediating factor in achievement goal predicting test anxiety;(3)there was a significant difference of test anxiety in grade,there was no significant difference in sex or the only child or not. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | test anxiety, parental expectations, achievement goal, academic self-efficacy | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
