A Study On The Foster’s Ecological Marxism

Since the beginning of the 20 th century,human beings have been on the way to make use of nature,use nature and even fight against nature.In particular,since the Renaissance began to deepen and promote the industrial revolution,the ability to conquer nature and transform nature has been greatly improved.Just as we revel in the domination of nature and the triumph of nature,ecological crisis is first developed in the western developed countries,and then spread all over the world.Many ecological thinkers and philosophers began to consciously or unconsciously to explore the source of ecological crisis,some of them have already touched the deep base of ecological crisis,they have come to realize the ecological crisis in a deeper sense is not only the crisis between human and nature,but also a modern system the crisis.Eco Marx is a scholar who has a deep understanding of the ecological crisis.With the rapid development of capitalist countries in Europe and America under the background of Marx’s ecological science and technology the relationship between human and nature,society,the ecological crisis of capitalism and modern civilization as their theoretical point,using Marx’s standpoints and methods to solve the mankind facing a series of sharp and urgent environmental problems.There is a prominent representative of the United States-Marx-Bellamy-Forster John,Marx contemporary ecology Marxism.In this paper,Forster’s ecology thought,such as materialism and nature of Marx,is used to interpret his ecological thoughts.Forster thought that in order to comprehensively and thoroughly understands Marx’s ecological thought,we must start from the origin of the formation of the thought of Marx.Therefore Forster dates back to ancient Greece,a detailed analysis of the deviation of the ancient Greek atomic materialist Epicurus theory influence the formation of the materialism of Marx;and on the basis of this analysis,discuss how to use the Marx Feuerbach critique of Hagel’s system and get rid of idealism,materialism ontology own theory;followed by Forster analysis of Darwin’s theory of evolution of the historical materialism of Marx’s ecology,and put forward the theory of fracture based on The new supersedes the old.Liebig’s idea,the ultimateproof of the materialism of Marx and the ecological way of thinking is the same.It can be said that Forster not only rebuilt the ecological Marxism,but also criticized the capitalist system on the basis of this reconstruction.In addition,Forster also put forward his own unique solution to the ecological dilemma;this method is of great significance for us to build socialist ecological civilization.
