In 1959,the discovery of the Wuwei Han Bamboo Slips was a major archaeological discovery of the 20 th century,its unearthed provides an important historical materials for calligraphy research and it is of great significance to study the art calligraphy.Han dynasty is the important period for the development of Chinese writing,the text of this period is mainly composed of bamboo slips and monument.In the process that the archaic evolved into the present,the text form(hereinafter referred to as "slips and bureaucrats"),which is based on the bamboo slips,is much faster than the monumental version of the text,That is,the mature of the monument version of the script lag behind in the slips official script text.Due to the last century bamboo slips unearthed,these conclusions are to be confirmed and these established conclusions undoubtedly have a positive impact on the evolution of research text and calligraphy creation.Wuwei slips "yili" "rites" is the calligraphy works of the Western Han Dynasty.It shows the official script mature stipple form and font style.Its unearthed confirmed that the scripture is mature in the late Western Han Dynasty,its calligraphy has been supplemented and perfected in the history of calligraphy and has provided the important reference to the contemporary calligraphy creation in pen,composition and style.This paper divided into five chapters,the first chapter introduces Wuwei "yili" slips unearthed,slips of shape and profile of calligraphy.The second chapter summarizes the characteristics of its calligraphy style,respectively from Wuwei slips "yili" three aspects of the stipple,structure and composition of the calligraphy,.The third chapter is the focus of this article,it explores the reasons that Wuwei slips "yili" calligraphy style formed,respectively from the calligraphy slips of the medium,brushes,geogaphical,handwriting,the availability of calligraphy,calligraphy education and the book selection system,etc.The fourth chapter is that compare Wuwei "yili" with slips of other contemporaneous styles in Jane,its purpose is to make us more clear understanding Wuwei slips "yili" calligraphy style and to have a more profound cognition and understanding to the whole slips of han dynasty calligraphy.The last chapter summarizes the Wuwei slips "yili" significant contribution to the calligraphy and analyzes its influence on contemporary calligraphy creation,so that it can be better applied to calligraphy research and calligraphy creation.
