This research explored the migrant children’s problem behavior and it’s relationships with school sense of community and self-esteem,discussed the problem behavior status of the migrant children and the factors influencing them,provided a basis for psychological health education of the migrant children.A total of 580 junior high school students completed the questionnaire,including the adolescent problem behavior questionnaire,classroom and campus community survey and sel f-esteem scale,and 510 valid questionnaires were collected in the end.After a analysis,the results showed that:(1)Migrant children’s problem behavior was more than the urban’s children.The boy’s problem behavior was significant higher than girls among the migrant children.There were significant gender differences in learning maladaptation,aggressive behavior and delinquent behavior.The shorter residence time of the migrant children in the current location,the greater impact they would get.The third grade students had higher problem behavior than the first and second grade students.There was no significant difference on problem behavior between only-child children and non-only-childchildren.(2)Both migrant children and urban children had more test anxiety and learning maladaptation behavior.Relatively,they had less aggressive behavior,delinquent behavior,withdraw and neuroticism.(3)Migrant children’s scores on the classroom community,campus community and school sense of community were lower than urban children.(4)Migrant children’s level of self-esteem was lower than urban children,there was a significant difference in them.(5)Each kind of problem behavior of migrant children had significant relationships with school sense of community and self-esteem,and could be estimated by school sense of community factor and self-esteem.(6)Self-esteem acted as a mediator of the relationship between migrant children’s school sense of community and problem behavior.Migrant children’s school sense of community not only affect their problem behavior directly,but also affect them through the mediating influence of self-esteem indirectly.
