Discussion On The Creation Features And Playing Techniques Of Rachmaninoff's Piano Solo Elegie

Sergei Vassilievitch Rachmaninoff is a romantic composer,pianist,conductor and concert performer.Morceaux de Fantaisie Op.3 is the first piano solo work created by Rachmaninoff.Although Morceaux de Fantaisie Op.3 is only composed of five pieces of music,the techniques and musicality of the five works cannot be ignored.Elegie is the first work in Morceaux de Fantaisie Op.3.Rachmaninoff's extraordinary creation ideas were revealed in Elegie.He insisted on the romantic style and inherited the tradition of Russian music and furthermore he created his own extraordinary music style.The analysis of Elegie in this thesis is composed of three parts.The first part introduces the creation background of the work,including the background of the composer and the then social background,which has close relation with the creation of Elegie;the second part analyzes the creation feature of Elegie from the aspects of melody,rhythm,texture,force and emotional expression,as well as the emotions that the creation features represented;the third part is about an analysis of playing skill from four aspects in part three: melody?rubato?dynamics?The pedal,and what experience should brings people or sth else should be noticedThere are few researches on this work.Through extracting,analyzing and summarizing the materials,based on personal playing experience,the author dissects the emotional expression and music content of the work,with a view to enhance the understanding and mastery of Elegie and better play the work.
