Cognitive Mechanism Research Of Speech Emotional Prosody In Lhasa Tibetan

In daily oral communication,besides the communication of contents and semantics,we can also tell each other’s emotional state and other paralinguistic information,which is also an important aspect of distinguishing between spoken and written language.The latter is mainly embodied in the emotional prosody of speech.Emotional prosody is an auxiliary language information which be used to express and convey different emotional state by means of changing speaker’s tone,pitch,duration,intensity and other acoustic cues,the verbal semantic understanding and processing plays an important role in verbal communication is the essential condition.It is also one of the focuses in the field of psycholinguistics and cognitive linguistics to study the role of emotional prosody in verbal communication and understanding.ERP technology is a powerful tool to study the cognitive process of this regulatory mechanism in the natural state of cognitive activities.In addition,with the application of a large number of related two language research,more and more scientists believe that the study of the ERP of the two languages is essential to reveal the mystery of the human brain.In this study,we used a high temporal resolution event-related potential(ERP)technique to study the specific cognitive processing in recording the natural state of emotional prosody.Based on the theoretical research,the paper investigated the cognitive mechanism of Tibetan Lhasa dialect speech emotional prosody processing,and substantively discussed the emotional prosody in speech is how to adjust the extraction and understanding of the meaning of language and the cognitive mechanism of this regulation mechanism,including the time course and brain space change of the entire process.Validating the important role of emotional prosody in verbal semantic understanding in oral communication from the point of view of cognitive,providing a qualitative basis for the contribution to language cognition of suprasegmental features in the language.In addition,exploring whether a correlation of emotional prosody with the two languages of Sino Tibetan existence of emotional prosody by comparing the results of the Chinese study,to provide a new theoretical basis for the two language acquisition of Tibetan Chinese bilingual.This paper takes Tibetan Lhasa dialect as the research object,to explore the processing mechanism of verbal emotional prosody,and the results were compared with the Chinese to study the influence of emotional prosody on speech meaning in Tibetan Lhasa dialect oral communication,the cognitive mechanism of this regulation mechanism as well as exploring whether a correlation of emotional prosody with the two languages of Sino Tibetan existence of emotional prosody.The following conclusions:1)The prosody cognitive process of Tibetan Lhasa shows the characteristics of the unconscious automatic processing;2)In Tibetan Lhasa dialect,the processing of speech meaning is not a simple word meaning integration,but must rely on the emotional prosody background information,emotional prosody can affect semantic processing in real time;3)The regulation of emotional prosody on word recognition presents a multi-stage linear processing.The individual from the beginning of analysis the acoustic cues,extracting the emotional meaning,integrating the emotional meaning and semantic information at last.In space,it has also experienced a dynamic process of the left hemispheres of early processing and the left and right hemispheres of later;4)In the experiment,both the Lhasa dialect and the Chinese language were used as the priming stimulus.The results show that in the cultural context of Tibetan and Chinese,the emotional prosody shows the consistency of the two cultures;This study not only enrich the theory of cognitive linguistics,widen the research scope of nerve linguistics,but also provides a theoretical basis and technical support for the cross-cultural study of affective prosody from the minority language perspective.But in the future studying,we should pay more attention to the expansion of the types of emotional prosody,as well as realizing the acquisition of the experimental corpus material in the realistic communication,so as to achieve a more comprehensive and realistic conclusions.
