Analyzing The Relationship Between Patrons And Artists During The Renaissance

The Renaissance plays an important role of European cultural movement.There are multiple perspectives can be cut into the study of the cultural movement,one of them is art patronage.Through in-depth analysis of arts sponsorship,we can see the way of the political,economic and culture impacting on art,and art counterproductiving to the social life.Florence is the birthplace of Renaissance,and the Medici family play an important role in city life.The Medici family promote the development of the Renaissance,offering good diversification in European art history.Family members patronize works of art with a strong family characteristics,with the particularity of class and time.Although in their patronage,inevitably mixed with other motives.In terms of the results,and art itself to achieve a qualitative leap.This paper on the basis of previous research results,from the perspective of art patronage,analyzing the relationship between the Medici family and artists during the Renaissance.In the process of the research mainly adopts the literature method and image method.In a specific historical context,elaborating the relationship between the Medici family and artists during the Renaissance,we can have a better understand of the art works.By this means,we can revealed the effects of art patronage on creative,creative environment and social class.
