The Beijing Smoke Hand Translation Of Vague Language Study

Since Zadeh(1965)proposed fuzzy theory,the research on fuzzy phenomenon has applied in different disciplines,among which mathematics and linguistics are the most prominent.In the basis of above theory,foreign scholars Wreckerand Wittgenstein made a deep research on fuzzy language in linguistics from semantic fuzziness and category theory.Chinese scholar Wu Taiping(1995)first introduced the fuzzy theory into China.Subsequently,domestic scholars studied fuzzy language from the perspectives of semantics,grammar,rhetoric,pragmatics,translation and so on.As we all know,translation is not a simple artificial transcoding.It needs to combine the translator ’s quality and translation methods.Whether the translation is successful depends on the translation of fuzzy language.By using Lin Yutang’ s Chinese version of "Moment in Peking" and Uygur version translated by Zhakeerjiang as corpus,with the construction of Chinese-Uygur parallel corpus and the translation methodology of Liu Miqing(2012),this paperdiscusses on Uygur translation offuzzy language,broadens the scope of the study of fuzzy theory,deepens the understanding of forms of vague language in Chinese and Uygur,combines the theory of vague language and Chinese-Uygur translation and provides a new way of thinking for Chinese-Uygur translation of vague language.The purpose of this paper is to improve the level of Uygur translation of vague language andapply the theory into practice.This paper is divided into three parts,the first part is comparative analysis of forms of Chinese and Uygur vague languageto find out the differences.The second part is the definition of fuzzy language and classification of fuzzy language in Moment in Peking from static semantic fuzziness and dynamic pragmatic fuzziness.Semantic fuzziness focuses on time words,numerals and color words,pragmatic fuzziness focuses on euphemism and humorous language.The third part puts that the translation of fuzzy language should be guided by the adaptability principle and aesthetic principle with Liu Miqing’ s translation theory(2012).The Uygur translation of fuzzy language can be made by corresponding method,transliteration method,transformation method,reduction,interpretation method and so on.Through these three parts,this paper is expected to improve translator ’s ability to deal with vague language in Chinese-Uygur translation.With the comparison of forms of Chinese and Uygur fuzzy language and specific translation methods,this paper provides reference value for other researchers and theoretical basis for bilingual teaching.
