A Manifest Research On "Wolf Totem" Of Uyghur Translation

With the scholars on the study of the translation text more deeply,and the characteristic in the study of translation text,"manifestation" has been attracting the attention of scholars.In recent decades,many scholars committed to the research of manifest phenomena,however,most researchers focus on the study of manifestation of iThe Indo-European languages' phenomenon,which is more than Uyghur and Chinese translation.Based on the manifest phenomena of Uyghur and Chinese translation process,which we choiced to as the research object,and the manifestation theory that both at the home and abroad provideing the basis for our study,by using the research method of corpus-based translation studies,we have taken the empirical research of the manifest phenomena in Uyghur and Chinese translation in?Wolf Totem?.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part,introduces the study of the selected topic background,research status at home and abroad,explains the research methods and purpose of this paper,mainly reviewing and combing manifest hypothesis,manifest definition,manifestation,classification and manifest phenomenon and its causes for predecessors.The second part discusses the manifest phenomena in Uyghur and Chinese translation in?Wolf Totem?Manifest with reference to the theory of view of the explicit classification in language function classification,combined with the characteristics of the Uighur through their own"Wolf totem" translation concept manifest function,interpersonal function manifestation,discourse features manifest were analyzed in three aspects.The third part summarizes the "Wolf totem" translation manifest the reasons of the phenomenon,mainly about translation factors,language,cultural differences and translators.The fourth part both analysised and researched,which summarized for thesis.
