Sonata is one of the most important musical genres in piano music. In this paper,the Baroque and Classical Piano Sonatas as the research subject, mainly based on Scarlatti's Piano Sonata K.380,K.24,Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach's sonata W.55/4,Haydn's Piano Sonata No.48, Hob.XVI.35 and Mozart's Piano Sonata K.576 were analyzed and compared. Through the analysis of the structural characteristics of the works to observe the development of the sonata form in these two periods, and combined with the performance,and summed up some experience of playing. It is hoped that this paper can provide some reference for the future to better perform and interpret the piano sonata.
