Both China and South Korea,in the long-term under the influence of Con fucianism,deeply rooted patriarchal society,women have been taking traditional family obligations and respect the innocence is the virtue for women.Howeve r,it is not only women’s thought,also in their action,it is changed dramaticall y since entered modern society.Under the influence of western feminism,espe cially women’s poetry writen,the 1980s had an indelible position.With the en d of China’s cultural revolution,South Korea’s military regime has fallen,wom en poets have welcomed their spring.Although the Chinese and south Korean women poets are different in the form of poems and expressions,the choice o f poetic image shows commonality.So what was the main image of Chinese and Korean women in the 1980s?What do these images have in common?Although chose the same image,but the two countries for a long time of politics,economy,culture,and the autho r’s life experience will make their interpretation of images which have different?What is the meaning of Chinese women’s poetry in the 1980s?From the above questions as a starting point,this thesis with China Zhai yong-ming and Yi lei,South Korea’s Go jeong-hee and Choi seung-ja of poem s published in 1980 and 1989 as the research object,using the method of fem inist criticism and methods of the parallel research of comparative literature,fo cusing on the night(darkness),space(bedrooms and grave),the female body t hree image carries on the analysis comparison,find the similarities and differen ces.The second chapter of this thesis deals with the social background,develo pment conditions and characteristics of Chinese women’s poetry in the 1980s.Then analyzed the image of the night,the bedroom,the body of women(limb s,breasts,etc.)and their symbolic significance.The third chapter and the second chapter,roughly the same,discusses the social background of south Korean women in the 1980s poetry,development condition and development course and characteristics,respectively discusses the darkness,grave,uterine images and their symbolic significance.Chapter 4 focuses on the similarities and differences between Chinese and Korean women’s poetry in the 1980s.First of all,China and South Korea in the 1980s woman poet in the poetry creation to acceptance of western feminist thought and according to different conditions between the two countries,and t he two countries female poet of the use of western women thought.Secondly,the two countries female poet’s different interpretations of the same image,this thesis focused on the night and darkness,bedroom and grave,and whole bod y writing(female organs)and uterine three aspects.This thesis through to China and South Korea in the 1980s female image comparative analysis of the poem,reveals to China and South Korea in the 1980 s important role in the development of female poetry,not only for women poetry’s development in 1980s,for poetry comparison between the two countri es also has important significance.
