Phonetic teaching is one of the most important parts of Chinese as a second language teaching, and is also a big difficulty in Chinese teaching. The study of the seven Chinese vowels is the cornerstone of the phonetic learning, and is an important premise and guarantee to the higher Chinese learning. The seven Chinese vowels are the basis for the formation of high-level vowels. The acquisition of the seven Chinese vowels will greatly affect the acquisition of other levels of vowels, and thus affect the quality of the whole phonological acquisition. The teaching of seven Chinese vowels is a kind of pronunciation teaching. The voice is invisible and transient, and is quite different from the teaching of vocabulary, grammar, and writing etc.The teaching of seven Chinese vowels is mostly taught by mechanical repetition training, and accuracy of students’ pronunciation depends on subjective judgments,so it is lack of scientific support. Therefore,we must fully recognize the characteristics of the first-level vowels teaching and the existing problems.By using experimental linguistic methods is a new trend to study the vowel in today’s linguistic study. In this paper,we choose speech pattern theory, the theory of error analysis and inter-language theory as our theoretical support.Using "Mini-Speech-Lab" software developed by Nankai University,we select 14 Kazakhstan international students to do my experiment.Based on the analysis of the acoustic experiment for the students,we compare Chinese, the students’ native language and students’ acquisition of Chinese vowels in parameter of Formant and V values, finding the students’ error performance of seven Chinese vowels acquisition,so as to analyze the causes of the errors, which is helpful and useful for Chinese vowels’ teaching. This paper is divided into seven parts:The first part is the introduction, which introduces its background and significance, theoretical basis, research methods and items of experimental design and summarizes the present situation of the research on Chinese first-level vowels. In the second part, the pronunciation of the first-vowel of Chinese in Kazakhstan students is mainly analyzed from two aspects: the vowel map and vowel chart pattern according to acoustic analysis. In the third part, the comparison of the Chinese and the students’ Chinese vowels is made, and the differences between them are analyzed in the resonance peak and V value. The fourth part is the acoustic analysis of the vowel pronunciation of foreign students’ mother tongue, which focuses on the analysis of the phonetic sound and the vowel pattern of the first-class vowel. The fifth part compares the acoustic features of the first-level vowels of Chinese and Kazakh. In the sixth part, and the author gives a description of the students’ errors in the acquisition of the first-level vowels, and further puts forward some corresponding suggestions. The seventh part is the conclusion of this article,by means of the acoustic analysis in the pronunciation of Chinese first-level vowel of in Kazakhstan students,we find some errors among students, and further put forward the corresponding teaching suggestions.
