The Analysis And Evaluation Of The Effect On The Investment Strategy Of Film And Television Enterprises

Investment is an important part of enterprise financial management activities,the success or failure of investment strategy directly determines the survival and development of enterprise.As capital-intensive enterprises,the film and television enterprises’ investment amount is larger,the financing is relatively difficult,therefore,it is very important to choose the kind of investment strategy for the film and television enterprises.In recent years,with the booming development of the film and television industry in our country,how to avoid inefficient and invalid investment,reasonable arrangement of investment projects has become an important issue for the film and television enterprises.Therefore,it is helpful that have an in-depth discussion of investment strategy for film and television enterprises to improve their own investment activities.In this paper,Huayi Bros which as one of the benchmarking enterprises of the film and television industry in our country as an example,on the basis of the analysis of the investment condition by using the SWOT analysis method,we discuss the investment strategy from five aspects:the way of investment,the investment orientation,the investment scale,the financing mode and the allocations of the raised funds.Besides,we evaluate the effect of Huayi Bros’ investment strategy from both income and risk,and obtain the final research conclusions to provide a reference for the enterprise and other film and television enterprises.The main work and conclusions are:(1)We found that the way of its investment and financing are diverse and mature,the investment orientation are multivariate,the investment scale is continuing to expand,while the investment in film and television are gradually weakened.Overall,Huayi Bros is using a vertical expansion of investment strategy.(2)Through the SWOT analysis,We found that the investment strategy of Huayi Bros gave full play to its investment advantages and seized the development opportunities,but did not take too many preventive measures to overcome the disadvantages of self-investment and to deal with the threats.(3)Through the evaluation of the effect of Huayi Bros’ investment strategy on the two aspects of income and risk,it was found that due to the continuous expansion of investment scale and diversified investment direction,the main business income of the enterprise is growing,but the development stability is lacking.Simultaneously,the return on investment does not produce synergies;However,the financial risk of the enterprise has been maintained within a reasonable range because of the variety of financing methods.The above conclusions show that the investment strategy of Huayi Bros is expansive and diversified,and present a generic entertainment landscape.Based on this,we suggest that the enterprise should clear the core competitiveness of enterprises,highlighting the focus of film and television investment.It should make rational investment in view of the enterprise weaknesses.In addition,it should focus on the pace of expansion to avoid blind investment.
